Button Mashing Technique: Rolling

Hi! I'm a new member to the forums, and I would like to give out my technique to mashing buttons for Taiko no Tatsujin.

The Tip: The trick only works on a gamepad. Works especially well on the Wii Classic Controller and the PSP/ PS Controllers.
You take both thumbs and slide them in circles very rapidly along the buttons on each side, if done correctly you're alternating between pressing each button on the pad.
So, you're thumbs should move like this:

This is really effective and it works for more games than just Taiko.
I've heard of a technique called "Swiping" where you swipe your finger across 2 buttons, but considering how my technique is more of a swirling motion, and I kind "Roll" my thumbs when I do it I decided to call it "Rolling."
