I really don't know if this is the right place to post this but ill try again.

I am a big fan of taiko and have played the series since 2002.  

I read on another blog regarding some of the things the jp players use and im trying to find out how to obtain these.

Can someone please help me in somehow obtaining these.  I cant carve bachi and have no time to learn to do so.  ANY help will be greatly appreciated.


The default bachi on the cabinets are too heavy, and i found these on "the way of the Taiko" blog.


In addition, these covers for the drums itself.

If you have no idea how to get specialized drumsticks, the easiest and most economical way is to split a broomstick/mop stick (make sure its wooden) in two and then neaten up the edges. As for the cover they can be anything from a cloth to an opened up plastic bag wrapping the surface of the drum. The cover serves no purpose to your performance, they're there to protect the drum surface from damage and preserve its sensitivity. Japanese players are very considerate fellows.
