Because seriously this game is all over the place now
(maybe we can also talk about Reflec Beat here)

Donders assume that Taiko is a strict progression from Kantan to Oni,but actually from a non-linear,non-subjective viewpoint it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly drummy-beaty��stuff

well, they both have beat in the title, so why not.

also, jubeat plus has lots of songs AC jubeat doesn't have. I'm surprised.

So I went to my arcade to try out some new songs~

Sightread (first attempt). kors k's new song is a mid-to-high tier 10. Wasn't that tough~

No JOMANDA yet, I'm still quite far behind in copious travel.

Trying to convince my friend into installing this on his iPad so I could play it. Progressing sloooowly -_-

Though, main idea is great, indication of when you should press button seems blurry.

Trying to pwn these games:
Pump It Up, Taiko no Tatsujin, Pop'n Music, Beatmania IIDX, Dj Max series.

I think it depends on which marker you choose.Some makes it easier to read patterns and some make it easier to figure out the timing.

Maybe that's why almost everyone and their mom choose either the Flower or Shutter markers from the original Jubeat

Flower is a very fast marker and is suited for sight reading for first attempts or those who have a good sense of rhythm.
Shutter allows for better accuracy. Those are the two commonly used markers, though I find the knit default marker also good for accuracy.
Personally I use Flower all the time since I can more or less play on rhythm.
