Tatakon

Tatakon

It is more convenient to you to play by means of a tatakon (drumcon) or by means of the joystick? In my opinion a tatakon to play much more difficult.

TOP

Joystick/keyboard definitely.

Certain combinations I just can't seem to be able to replicate on the tatakon. Not to mention getting tired very easily...

I don't have any Wii or PS2 game, but I think I'd prefer the tatacon.

It's the most similar to arcade and you get to actually drum. Plus it's fun to train up stamina and hand-switching.

TOP

Joystick, since the tatakon isn't very sensible, so we have to do stronger hits and we get tired easily. I hope is different in the arcade.

Tatacon all the way. i find that playing on the tatacon really gets you into the rhythm and of course its a good  for training stamina.

since i'm pretty frail, i prefer keyboard/joystick. but sometimes i tend to use tatakon as a means of exercising, though i get tired rather easily, haha just have to have inhaler just in case, especially in arcades.
Saitama monsters are cute! Nyan!

mastering hand-switching with real drumsticks is very satisfying~
KAGEKIYO normal Oni is particularly fun to learn to hand-switch.

To me, Tatacon actually feels different from playing in the arcade. I don't know about the others, but mine is very loud and it doesn't register some notes. Unless you put it on a rough surface it moves A LOT too. (no, it's not a counterfeit) If I play on the wii I prefer using the wiimote. I learn more about hand-switching in osu than tatacon...

@LivingJelly I got accustomed to arcade quite quickly through DS skills alone. I suggest you make your own drumsticks - the difference in stamina drain/ speed with your own drumsticks is immense.

Luckily if I wanted to experience playing on the arcade I could just go to a nearby Jusco to practise.

I've only been to an arcade once, and that was when I was still only starting to grow with my skills so I can't say much about how that compares to playing on a tatacon. My experience with a tatacon is roughly the same as Dorm_City's. Actually, the moving issue was too much that I decided to take a chair from outside to myself and permanently mount my tatacon there.

Lucky you, Dorm_City, you can just go to an arcade if you want a taste of the AC version. I can't.

I have never played using a tatacon..So I don't know...
I've played the ac though..
