Hello fellow donders!
I only came across Taiko no Tatsujin when I was searching rhythm games from Japan for my psp. My first TnT game is Taiko no Tatsujin Portaburu~ 2.
I instantly fell in love with the game, starting from the flower stage progressing little by little up to Oni
When I saw that it has a DS game,  I bought a DS so that I can play the game XD I even downloaded the game on my iPhone!
What's missing is to play with the arcade version and the ps2/wii consoles.. There's no TnT arcade here in the Philippines TT 3TT (Well there is ONE, but its broken)
I'm just a poor college student so importing the game is out of the equation. I've been searching at my country's buy & sell site for four years now, and finally I've found a pre-loved taiko drum (ps2) for sale that is certainly within my (lowly) budget!
Alas! I have to buy it asap! And after years of tapping buttons, I can now play with the taiko drums

Anyone here who has the same story as mine, started playing the portable first rather than the taiko peripheral?

You're not the only one around here who has started with portable games: pikaby/aquabluu and others made their first steps with DS games, while I prefered the Wii games first.
